City of Ekurhuleni is seeking a General assistant

The Information Communications & Technology Department of the EPEP (2022) division is currently seeking a temporary worker for a position in Gauteng.

The purpose of this role is to ensure that all safety standards are adhered to at all times as pre-regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing general handy work and routine maintenance as required within their area of accountability.

In addition to these responsibilities, the candidate will be expected to perform general handwork and routine maintenance to agreed quality standards.

They must be able to apply work changes as instructed to meet targets and ensure that all work is completed well. The ideal candidate will always look for ways to improve their work and find more efficient methods of completing tasks.

The position also requires the candidate to perform any other general cleaning and maintenance duties as assigned.

To be considered for this role, the candidate must be a South African citizen .

The candidate must also be a young person between the ages of 18 and 35, but men and women over the age of 35 will also be considered.

Furthermore, the candidate must have completed Grade 10 or an equivalent qualification and have the ability to read and write.
