Vacancy: Forklift Driver
Business Overview: Operating within a dynamic, fast-paced environment, this role offers numerous challenges and growth opportunities. The position is based in Spartan, Gauteng.
Role Outline:
- Handling palletized stock movement in alignment with operational requirements.
- Loading and unloading trucks and containers.
- Ensuring pallets are stacked according to warehouse standards.
- Safely transporting stock between locations and assisting in Stock Take and Cycle counts.
- Upholding service delivery standards, delicacy, and punctuality.
- Maintaining company integrity and minimizing losses.
- Upholding the highest standards of customer service.

General Responsibilities:
- Demonstrating honesty, pride, and attention to detail in job performance.
- Loading and unloading vehicles and containers.
- Understanding customer requirements easily.
- Ensuring compliance with stacking standards for pallets.
- Minimizing damages.
- Maintaining top-notch housekeeping standards.
- Conducting daily checks of operational machinery and completing checklists.
- Ensuring proper use of MHE (Material Handling Equipment) and reporting defects promptly.
- Reporting and recording any non-conformity regarding customer merchandise.
- Maintaining high hygiene standards of MHE.
- Performing duties within designated areas as directed by management and undertaking ad-hoc tasks as demanded.
- Adhering to standard operating procedures and safe working practices.
- Assisting in the induction of new employees.
- Performing administrative tasks in line with SOP.
- Completing daily MHE checklists.
- Safely and correctly operating equipment.
- Minimizing damages.
- Working in a 0-degree warehouse (Cold Foods).
Qualifications:
- Matric / Grade 12 Certificate.
- Valid Forklift license.
- 1-2 years of driving experience.
