Clover is currently seeking a merchandiser based in Kathu, Northern Cape. The main objective of this role is to assist designated stores in Kathu by minimizing returns and claims while maintaining optimal stock levels. Responsibilities include overseeing and placing orders, implementing effective shelf control based on store and shelf plans, and fostering strong business relationships.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4 qualification
- Fluent in Business English
- Availability for shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Control and order stock, implementing relevant stock control measures both in-store and in backup areas where Clover stock is handled
- Manage returns according to store work plan, promptly addressing out-of-stock situations
- Place accurate and timely orders according to scheduling
- Ensure clean and organized product displays on shelves
- Maintain proper control of equipment in line with company policies
- Foster positive business connections with store management, AM, HO, customers, and fellow merchandisers
- Implement correct shelf control based on specified plans
- Arrange shelves according to guidelines provided by the AM and adhere to basic retailing rules
- Maintain proper conservation of the fridge at all times
- Ensure each product has the correct PI marker
- Display point of sale material as required and maintain as necessary
- Manage relevant administrative tasks
- Identify opportunities within the store to enhance product presence on shelves
- Maintain connections with store management, AM, HO, customers, and fellow merchandisers
