IMPORTANT NOTICE: The March 2024 Open Vacancy List is intended to announce available support staff positions at seminaries. This list is organized by quarter and alphabetically sorted according to circuits and seminaries. Contact figures for the applicable academy or circuit office are handed for inquiries. Non-educator support staff positions listed then are announced under the Public Service Act (Act 103 of 1994). The Vacancy List and affiliated documents are accessible on the Departmental website at www.mpumalanga.gov.za/education/, under the vacancies section.
DATE OF COMMENCEMENT OF DUTY: Recommendations for these posts will be considered by District Directors or delegated officers upon the recommendation of fairly constituted governing bodies. Upon blessing, formal offer letters of appointment will be issued by the applicable District HR element. Candidates may only assume duty upon damage of formal blessing of appointment, evidence of qualifications, and satisfactory completion of felonious record checks.
CLOSING DATE FOR OPERATIONS: Operations must be physically entered at District services by 15:00 on April 25, 2024. Operations entered after this deadline won’t be considered. The Department bears no responsibility for lost or late operations, indeed if transferred via expedited postal or courier services. Deficient or inaptly addressed operations will also not be considered.
OPERATION PROCEDURE: Each vacancy requires a separate operation form. Form New Z83 (accessible from any Public Service Department Support Staff) should be used for non-educator support staff positions. All aspirants must use the new interpretation of Form Z83. Workers recommended for appointment must submit a Certificate in terms of Section 44 of the Criminal Law (Sexual Offenders Related Matters) Amendment Act no. 32 of 2007 (NRSO Certificate). Pukka clones of RSA Identity Documents and motorists Licences (if needed) dated within the once 3 months must be attached. Aspirants are encouraged to include an streamlined Curriculum Vitae and certified clones of witnesses and other supporting documents with each operation. The operation envelope must be marked “APPLICATION FOR ADVERTISED POST – March 2024 Vacancy List”. All information on the operation Form must be accurate, especially the Post Reference Number.
