An opportunity has emerged for a permanent General Worker within the Technical Department at Mountain Zebra National Park. The successful candidate will report to the Technical Officer.

Conditions:
- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
- Code 8 driver’s license
- Physically fit for demanding tasks
- Clean criminal record (SAPS Verification required)
- General knowledge of Geysers, Tiling, Painting, Aircons, and refrigeration
- Availability for flexible working hours
Responsibilities:
- Assist in civil structure maintenance following established procedures
- Investigate and resolve technical issues
- Handle general administrative tasks such as timesheets and reports
- Operate Waste-Water purification plant and Water purification plant
- Supervise contractors’ conduct on campgrounds and infield
- Maintain walls, water points, roads, and structures
- Support asset operation and maintenance
- Participate in park activities as required
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety standards
- Conduct vehicle and plant inspections
Additional Information:
- Appointment will align with EE Plan targets
- Successful candidates are required to reside outside the park; housing allowance provided
- Weekend and Public Holiday work may be necessary
- Preference given to candidates with previous general working experience
Payment Range:
R 123,884.89 – R 165,767.11
