Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent, with a certificate in Community Development as an added advantage.
Core and Process Capabilities:
- Understanding of Batho Pele principles
- Knowledge of the Public Service Act
- Computer literacy
- Familiarity with the dynamics, culture, and language of the target community
Skills & Knowledge:
- Negotiation and presentation skills
- People and time management skills
- Effective communication
- Computer and numeracy skills
Duties:
- Inform and assist communities in accessing government services
- Identify community requirements and communicate them to applicable government structures
- Coordinate early warning systems
- Enhance the conditioning of original community workers
- Collect progress reports and documents
- Stay streamlined on government services and access mechanisms
- Conduct ward profiling
