Applications are invited for the position of Examination Assistant (EA) for the July and December 2024 marking sessions. This opportunity is open to qualifying and unemployed teachers and graduates to assist with the marking of the National Senior Certificate examination scripts.

Criteria
Preference will be given to candidates in the following categories:
- Full-time education students who are at least in their second year of study at a recognized tertiary institution.
- Education students with relevant and appropriate experience in examination-related work.
- Education students with basic numeracy skills.
- Unemployed education graduates (proof required).
Instructions to Applicants
Eligibility: Only South African citizens may apply.
- Application Form: Complete all fields on the application form fully and honestly.
- Bank Details Form: Fill out the form with your bank account details and have it verified and stamped by your bank. The applicant must sign this form. Use your own banking details.
- Qualifications: Attach a certified copy of your qualifications.
- Proof of Study: If currently studying, attach a letter of proof of your latest registration at your tertiary institution.
- Identification: Attach three certified copies of your green barcoded ID or ID card.
- Submission: Submit only one set of the application form.
Additional Information
- Employment Status: Employed individuals will not be considered for appointment as Examination Assistants.
- Accuracy: Providing false information will result in rejection of the application or dismissal if already appointed.
- Submission Method: Incomplete, emailed, faxed, or late applications will not be considered.
- Accommodation and Transport: No sleeping accommodation or transport will be provided.
- Acknowledgement: Due to the large number of applications expected, receipt of applications will not be acknowledged.
- Marking Times: Marking sessions run from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
