Requirements:
- Minimum of Grade 10 (authentic School report) or Relevant NQF level 2 or ABET Level 4.
- Ability to read and write.
- Experience in public service or cleaning environments is an added advantage.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Knowledge of Batho Pele Principles, Patients’ Rights, and the 6 ministerial priorities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts (nights, weekends, and public holidays).
- Ability to perform duties under pressure.
Duties:
- Cleaning windows, walls, carpets, floors, office furniture, consulting rooms, corridors, and toilets.
- Emptying bins, changing, and washing linen.
- Serving tea and refreshments as needed.
- Washing dishes, glasses, cutlery, and utensils.
- Operating and using cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Safekeeping and handling of cleaning aids.
- Reporting defects.
- Performing any other duties as instructed by the Supervisor.
Notes:
- Submit a fully completed and signed new Z83 form along with a detailed, recently updated CV.
- Copies of qualifications, identity documents, and driver’s license are not needed at the application stage. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to provide certified copies at the interview.
