Position: Administration Clerk (HR)

Salary: R216,417 per annum (Level 05)
Centre: Potchefstroom

Requirements:

  • Senior/Grade 12 certificate
  • National Diploma in Human Resources Management
  • One (1) to two (2) years of experience (advantageous)
  • Valid unexpired driver’s license
  • Knowledge of PERSAL and MS Office packages
  • Knowledge of HR prescripts governing the public service
  • Good interpersonal skills, customer care, and communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and under pressure
  • Willingness to travel outside working hours

Duties:

  • Render HR administrative functions
  • Administer recruitment and selection, HR transactions, performance management and development system, information management (Establishment), IOD, incapacity pension administration
  • Type and draft letters, memoranda, and submissions
  • Provide professional advice on departmental HRM policies and related prescripts
  • Handle all HRM administrative functions
  • Compile daily statistics and update databases

Position: Administration Clerk

Requirements:

  • Senior/Grade 12 certificate
  • One (1) to three (3) years of administration experience, preferably in a technical environment (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of PFMA, Treasury Regulations, and relevant public service administration
  • Proof of computer literacy
  • Good interpersonal and organizing skills
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong sense of responsibility
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Valid unexpired driver’s license

Duties:

  • Arrange and circulate notices of, and take minutes of technical meetings
  • Assist in typing and compiling required technical reports
  • Assist in compiling and tracking Maintenance Plans (both Opex and Capex funded)
  • Arrange travel and accommodation bookings for technical support personnel
  • Complete procurement documentation for equipment, furniture, and other items for technical support personnel
  • Prepare, update, and archive files/documents
  • Fulfill other tasks related to the Technical Support Section as required
