Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform card reconciliations, filing, and general processing tasks.
  • Reconcile credit card transactions and ensure supporting documentation is obtained.
  • Conduct daily revenue reconciliations for all store POS pay types.
  • Review daily store reports and address any queries.
  • Enter cash revenue figures into reconciliation spreadsheets.
  • Verify cash drops via the online portal.
  • Confirm cash deposits in the bank account.
  • Reconcile card transaction revenue with bank account deposits.
  • Enter and reconcile revenue amounts received from Mr D, Uber Eats, Yumbi, vouchers, account cheques, and the Pedros app.
  • Address and resolve any variance queries with store and operations management.
  • Escalate variances according to SOP when necessary.
  • Ensure receipt of original cash-up documentation weekly.

Requirements:

  • Matriculation certificate.
  • Completion or final year of a tertiary accounting or finance qualification (part-time online studies acceptable).
  • Proficiency in Excel.
