Crucial Duties & Liabilities
- Conducting quality tests, compiling reports, and communicating out-of-line specifications to ensure product and package quality align with Company standards, minimize costs, and maintain inspection-ready records.
Knowledge
- An understanding of microbiology, chemistry, biochemistry, physics, and mathematics applicable to the food industry, as well as laboratory programs and practices.

Skills, Experience & Education Qualifications/Experience:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics & Physical Science passed with 40% (excluding Mathematics Literacy)
- Proficiency in two South African languages with a minimum of 40% pass rate
- Studying towards Microbiology, Biotechnology, Food Technology, or related qualifications
- Completion of theoretical modules with a need for practical exposure to complete the qualification
- Willingness to undergo In-Service/Experiential Training in the Industry
- No previous completion of an In-Service Trainee program at another company or organization

- Possession of a letter from the institution requesting workplace experience to complete their qualification
- The In-Service Trainee program extends over 12 months.
