Elevate your career with our Conservation learnership programme, offered at no cost to you! If you are presently employed in the field of nature conservation and eager to expand your skill set, consider joining our completely funded, 12-month learnership programme. This initiative aims to enrich your chops and qualifications. Upon successful completion, you will attain a National Certificate in Nature Conservation Resource Guardianship (NQF 2), original to a Grade 10 qualification, opening doors to entry-position reserve jobs.

Throughout the programme, you’ll learn ways to conserve biodiversity within your current reserve or conservation areas. Gain moxie in monitoring and eradicating invasive herbage. Share in colorful tasks such as fire operation, recuperation, structure conservation, fauna and herbage covering, factory propagation, and executive duties. Collect data for point-restoration purposes and promote environmental education and mindfulness among community members, residers, business possessors, and combined associations.

Prospects: Complete assignments aligned with practical exploits on reserves. Attend training and learner support sessions.

To qualify, you must:

  • Have an interest in carrying a nature-conservation qualification.
  • Presently be employed, preferably in the conservation or environmental fields.
  • Have a plant educator.
  • Retain a Grade 9 statement of results.
  • Fall within the age type of 18 to 35 times.
  • Commit to the 12-month knowledge programme while maintaining employment.
  • Allocate six weeks for in-person training during the 12-month period.
  • Be willing to complete affiliated training assignments and engage in out-of-door and practical work.

Fresh points to your advantage: Retain at least six months’ experience in a nature conservation or analogous part.

Include an over-to-date dupe of your CV (with three contactable references). Give pukka duplicates of your Grade 9 statement of results and ID document. All duplicates must be certified within one month. Failure to submit the requested documents will affect in your operation being disqualified.
