Position: Merchandiser Location: Malamulele, Limpopo Contract Type: Fixed-term, Full-time Work Schedule: 5 shifts per week
Job Summary: Are you passionate about enhancing the visual appeal of retail spaces and driving product sales? Join our team as a Merchandiser! Your role will involve ensuring that store shelves are stocked with the right products, presented attractively, and priced appropriately to attract customers. You will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal of the store while maximizing sales opportunities. This position requires working across multiple stores within a designated area. Details regarding the fixed-term contract will be discussed during the interview process.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and validate stock inventory for retailing purposes.
- Receive and verify incoming stock deliveries.
- Arrange and display products to enhance customer attraction and ensure visibility of all product lines.
- Maintain accurate records of stock usage and regularly monitor inventory levels.
- Adjust displays according to inventory updates or promotional activities.
- Adhere to display guidelines and layouts.
- Utilize creative strategies to capture customer attention, including seasonal or promotional displays.
- Check product quality and report any damages.
- Restock shelves with fresh stock, replacing old or damaged products.
- Plan product selection and quantity.
- Collaborate with various teams, including marketing and sales, to optimize retailing strategies.
- Utilize visual merchandising techniques such as color schemes, lighting, props, and decorations to enhance display aesthetics.
- Develop store layout plans and design signage and announcements.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the designated area, including the stockroom.
- Ensure accuracy of product index (PI) markers and price stickers.
- Provide product usage advice to customers and address complaints, queries, and requests promptly.

- Matric qualification.
- Proficiency in English.
- Reside within a 15 km radius of the job location.
- Clear criminal record.

- South African citizenship.
- Previous experience as a Merchandiser or in a related field.
