Join our platoon as a Reach Truck motorist at our Germiston DC in South Africa! We are seeking 13 individuals to fill this role. As part of our Supply Chain platoon, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth operation of our storehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport all stock/accessories within the storehouse to designated locations.
- Efficiently handle put-down tasks, losses, and picking tasks.
- Follow proper storehouse handling procedures.
- Complete daily rosters for the Reach Truck.
- Perform daily cleaning of the Reach Truck after use.
- Ensure smooth shift handovers to the next shift.
- Maintain storehouse cleanliness according to company norms.
- Ensure proper stock and cleanliness of force in the work area.
- Adhere to Health, Safety, and Security regulations, including PPE compliance.
- Perform any other duties as directed by the Line director or Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 qualification.
- Valid Reach Truck motorist license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Strong drive for results and capability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, including with guests.
- Results-driven with integrity.
- Capability to work long hours.
