Title: CHIETA Supply Chain Management (SCM) Externship Opportunity (Fixed Term: 24 Months)
The Chemical Industry Education & Training Authority (CHIETA) is offering a rewarding opportunity for aspiring professionals to join its Internship Programme. We’re seeking devoted individuals to fill the position of SCM Intern on a Fixed Term Contract spanning 24 months.
Position: SCM Intern Paycheck: R7000.00 Per Month Location: Gauteng, South Africa Closing Date: May 15, 2024
Minimum Conditions:
- National Diploma in Public Finance and Accounting/ Accounting/ Supply Chain Management or a related field, with a minimum total of 65%.
- Level 4 CIPS Qualification would be profitable.
- Proficiency in computer knowledge.
- No previous work experience needed.
- Possession of a valid motorist’s license is preferred.
Liabilities:
- Procurement procedures via citation system.
- Identification and engagement of suppliers from Central Supplier Database.
- Compendium and assessment of price citations.
- Conducting request exploration for products and services.
- Preparation and submission of Annual procurement plans and daily reports.
- Involvement in tender process operation.
- Support for colorful shot panels with shot operation.
- Prosecution of force operation tasks, including yearly rapprochements.
- Facilitation of trip arrangements and yearly conciliation of charges.
- Operation of contracts.
- Aid in expenditure trend analysis for the Supply Chain Management platoon.
- Preparation of reports and icing compliance.
- Fulfillment of Adhoc Supply Chain Management duties as needed.
To be eligible for this externship, aspirants must:
- Be recent graduates with no previous work experience.
- Demonstrate strong planning, prioritization, and independent work chops.
- Exhibition methodical and thorough work approach with acute attention to detail.
- Retain excellent computer chops and innovative thinking.
- Show multitasking capability and prioritization across multiple systems and platforms.
- Display effective written and oral communication chops suitable for public cult.
- Be willing to unite in brigades and show action.
