Job Purpose: Bidvest International Logistics is seeking to hire a Picker/Packer responsible for pulling and packing products using a pallet jack or trolley based on daily orders, as well as performing general warehouse tasks.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent
- 1+ year warehouse experience
- Experience using scanners
- 1+ year experience in picking, binning, and stock counts
Key Responsibilities: Operational Activities:
- Ensure timely put-away and picking of cargo
- Pick and bin orders using scanners
- Ensure accuracy of racked and picked cargo for dispatch
- Conduct physical stock counts
- Re-palletize cargo
- Check loading and off-loading of road vehicles and containers as needed
- Tally inward cargo
- Maintain housekeeping in the respective area
- Maintain SHEQ activities in the work area
- Implement and maintain 5S activities in the area of responsibility
