They will report directly to the Senior Manager: Human Capital.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting Recruitment Processes

  • Administrative Support: Assist with all administrative tasks related to the recruitment process.
  • File Management: Create and update both manual and electronic staff files to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.

Meeting Coordination and Employee Relations

  • Meeting Scheduling: Organize and coordinate Human Capital-related meetings, ensuring all necessary arrangements are in place.
  • Employee Relations: Participate actively in the administration of Employee Relations activities and tasks, providing essential support to the team.

Record Maintenance and Training Administration

  • Confidential Records: Maintain confidential records and files, ensuring they are secure and easily accessible.
  • Training Interventions: Schedule training sessions and interventions, helping to facilitate continuous staff development.

Reporting and Query Management

  • Report Preparation: Prepare comprehensive Human Capital reports as required.
  • Query Handling: Attend to all Human Capital-related queries, offering timely and accurate responses.

Exit Process and Office Supplies

  • Exit Administration: Manage the staff exit process, ensuring all necessary steps are completed efficiently.
  • Office Supplies: Order and manage stationery and office supplies for the business unit, maintaining adequate stock levels.

Key Attributes Required

To be considered for this internship, candidates must possess the following attributes:

  • Educational Qualifications: A Grade 12 certificate (NQF level 4) and a HR degree or National Diploma.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Must be organized and reliable, capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work well within a team, demonstrating cooperation and flexibility.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience using Microsoft Suite – Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and email.
