KwaZulu-Natal Office of the Premier: Internship & WIL Programme
The KwaZulu-Natal Office of the Premier, in cooperation with LGSETA, is offering an Internship Programme and Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Programme for 120 interns/learners for a period of 12 months. Interns/learners will be stationed in Provincial Departments and municipalities across KwaZulu-Natal, providing opportunities for unemployed individuals to gain work experience in various fields.
Internship and Work Integrated Learning Programme (WIL) 2024 – 2025 Financial Year
Requirements for WIL Programme
- Applicants must be from KwaZulu-Natal.
- Applicants must be unemployed and have never participated in a Work Integrated Learning Programme from any government department.
- Applicants must be registered with a recognized Institute of Higher Learning (a signed and certified letter from the institute requesting WIL must be attached).
- Applicants must have successfully completed the institutional requirements to enroll in the WIL Programme.

National Diploma: Public Administration

Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning

Requirements for Internship Programme
- Applicants must be from KwaZulu-Natal.
- Applicants must be unemployed and have never participated in an internship programme from any government department.
- Certified copies of highest qualifications, not older than 6 months from the current date, must be visible.
- Where a statement of results is submitted, it must be accompanied by a completion letter from the institute.
- Applicants must have successfully completed the institutional requirements from a recognized Institute of Higher Learning to be considered for the Internship Programme.

How to Apply
Applications must be submitted on a fully completed new Z83 form (obtainable at any Public Service Department) clearly indicating the reference number, along with a detailed CV and certified copies of ID (both sides if a smart ID), matric certificate, and academic record/highest qualification. Certification of all documents should not be older than six (6) months.
