Responsibilities
- Performing periodic supply chain analysis
- Implementing, facilitating, and/or coordinating the rollout of initiatives
- Monitoring supply chain elements to assess performance efficiency and effectiveness
- Generating reports using data from relevant sources to compile meaningful information
- Undertaking and reviewing assigned projects as required
Experience and Qualifications
- Education: Degree in Industrial Engineering
- Experience: 3 years’ experience in applying the principles of Industrial Engineering with some exposure to a supply chain network
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in drawing information from SAP and other IS systems for analysis purposes
- Good knowledge of techniques for analyzing business indicators and data
- Good understanding of logistical factors that impact the cement industry
- Understanding end-to-end supply chain processes and the impact of focus areas
- Understanding of the dynamics that influence the supply chain
- Knowledge of economic and financial principles related to cost implications
- Very proficient in using computer software
- Soft Skills:
- Good written and verbal presentation skills
