AI Engineer Internship Programme
This is a 6-month internship for 5 unemployed young South Africans, focusing on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Rustenburg, North West. The program includes Digital Skills Training, Work Readiness & GC Index, and a Virtual Global Internship.
About the Programme
Our AI Engineer Internship Programme is a structured initiative designed to fast-track the development of unemployed youth, giving them the foundational technical skills, workplace exposure, and business application knowledge they need to build rewarding careers. The programme supports the transition from university to professional discipline and provides a framework of ‘non-technical’ skills to support building personal effectiveness.
AI Engineer
Elevate your career with the Masters in AI offered in collaboration with IBM. This program equips you with essential AI skills through industry-relevant training, live interactive sessions, and hands-on projects. Gain expertise in Python, ML, deep learning, NLP, and more, all designed to prepare you for a successful career in AI engineering.

Requirements
- Ages between 18-35
- South African Citizen
- Candidates must currently be unemployed
- Must have a tertiary qualification (NQF Level 5 or above)
- Candidate must not be enrolled with any other tertiary institution
- Must live in Rustenburg, North West – relocation is NOT an option
- Must not be participating in another learnership or internship program
