Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Efficient Operational Execution
- Manage all point of sale (POS) activities with precision and speed.
- Ensure accuracy in scanning merchandise and processing payments.
- Handle cash securely and efficiently at all times.
2. Customer Engagement
- Actively promote the Clicks’ clubcard, encouraging new enrollments to meet participation targets.
- Inform customers about current promotions to boost sales and enhance their shopping experience.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, embodying the Clicks brand through professionalism and friendliness.
3. Merchandising and Housekeeping
- Maintain high standards of merchandising and general store housekeeping.
- Ensure visual merchandise standards are met, creating an inviting shopping environment.
- Stay informed about product ranges, promotions, and events to provide accurate information to customers.
Required Knowledge
- Basic Mathematics: Ability to perform fundamental math calculations.
- Retail/FMCG Experience: Understanding of merchandising, promotions, and stock management procedures.
