Responsibilities

The finance intern will assist with various entry-level tasks within the finance department, including:

  • Daily Cash-ups: Assisting with daily cash-up procedures.
  • Aged Payables – Creditors: Processing and reconciling supplier accounts.
  • Aged Receivables – Debtors: Processing and reconciling debtor accounts.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Performing regular bank reconciliations.
  • Internal Reconciliations: Conducting internal reconciliations within the department.

  • Communication Skills: Good communication abilities.

  • Excel Skills: Proficiency in Excel.

Requirements

  • Education: Matric; a tertiary qualification in Financial Accounting (Diploma) is advantageous.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year of working experience in a finance-related role.

  • Have not been subjected to disciplinary action in the past 6 months.
