Duration: 12 months (Fixed Term Contract)
Locations: Sandton, Sasolburg, and Secunda

Purpose of the Job

The primary aim of this Learnership Programme is to provide learners with both theoretical knowledge and practical experience in administration. This dual approach ensures that participants are well-prepared for entry-level administrative roles and possess a solid foundation of essential workplace skills.

Recruitment Description and Key Accountabilities

Theoretical Component

The programme includes a structured theoretical component aligned with the National Qualifications Framework (NQF). This segment covers critical subjects such as:

  • Entrepreneurship
  • Business Operations
  • Customer Service
  • Business Accounting
  • Maths Literacy
  • Communication Skills
  • Computer Skills

Practical Onsite Work Experience

Alongside the theoretical training, learners will engage in practical onsite work experience. This hands-on training is designed to:

  • Enhance literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
  • Provide a grounding in computer and basic business principles.
  • Develop administrative support capabilities to improve managerial and departmental effectiveness.

Formal Education and Experience Requirements

Educational Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Post-Matric qualification is advantageous but not required.


  • Experience level: 0 – 2 years in a relevant field.
