Position Overview
We are currently seeking four dedicated individuals to join our team as Apprentices (Global Grade 03) in Kathu, South Africa. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to learn, develop new skills, and grow within a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Theoretical and Practical Training: Successfully complete all required theoretical learning, practical training, and skills assessments as part of the apprenticeship program.
- Application of Skills: Apply the skills and knowledge acquired during training in real-world scenarios.
- Documentation and Experience Building: Maintain and complete all necessary documentation, including logbooks and training records, to ensure proper experience building.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Achieve KPIs: Meet individual balanced scorecard objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Self-Management: Take ownership of self-management and personal performance to ensure continuous improvement.
- Accurate Reporting: Provide accurate reporting on tasks completed, including related documentation and administration.
- Productivity and Cost Management: Contribute to productivity and effective cost control measures.
- Risk and Contamination Control: Assist in maintaining safety, risk management, and contamination control standards.
Qualifications, Experience, and Competencies
- Education: Grade 12/Matric with N3 level mathematics and physical science, or a Foundational Learning Certificate (FLT).
- Driver’s License: Valid Driver’s License (Code B), to be obtained before the trade test.
- Analytical Skills: Basic analytical ability to understand and solve problems.
- Technical/Mechanical Reasoning: Fundamental understanding of technical and mechanical principles.
- Numerical Reasoning: Basic numerical reasoning skills.
- Spatial Visualization: Ability to visualize spatial relationships and technical concepts.
- Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
