As a Receiving Clerk, your responsibilities will include verifying delivered fibre and ensuring accurate documentation on clip advises and delivery notes. This role also involves the verification of information on bales.

Requirements

  • Education: Grade 12
  • Experience: 1-2 years in a warehouse environment
  • Knowledge: Basic understanding of Wool and Mohair, warehouse processes
  • Skills: Computer literacy, proficiency in Afrikaans/English/Xhosa
  • Availability: Willingness to work overtime and be available for off-loads after hours

Key Responsibilities

  • General Queries: Handle all queries satisfactorily and interact positively and professionally with clients.
  • Receiving of Wool: Ensure all information on clip advises is correctly documented.
  • Verification of Bales: Confirm that bales are properly marked and not misplaced in the warehouse.
  • Environmental Responsibility: Maintain daily housekeeping standards and adhere to Health and Safety regulations.
  • Quality Control: Ensure compliance with ISO procedures.
  • Adhoc Duties: Assist with tasks and activities as delegated by the line manager.
