Position Overview: Research, Development, Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation Intern

This internship is housed within the CHIETA Research, Development, Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation Business Unit, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects while gaining invaluable experience. The role primarily involves supporting the business unit with research and administrative tasks. Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this internship, applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Educational Background: A Degree in Social Science, Public Administration, or a National Diploma in Business Management with a minimum aggregate of 65%. (An Honours degree will be advantageous.)
- Previous Experience: No prior internship experience is required.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer applications.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain relationships within the team and across different teams.
- Report Writing: Demonstrated ability to write detailed and effective reports.

Key Performance Areas
As an intern in this programme, you will engage in various key activities, including:
- Research Assistance: Contribute to research efforts on existing and potential projects.
- Administrative Support: Provide logistical and administrative assistance for skills planning activities.
- Chamber Support: Offer general support and coordination for related Chambers.
- Knowledge Management: Manage digital files, content, and knowledge resources, and implement improvements to the CHIETA knowledge library.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Participate in data collection and analysis to measure project impact and support monitoring and evaluation efforts.
- Reporting: Assist in reviewing and compiling monitoring reports, project progress reports, and evaluation reports.
- General Administration: Provide essential administrative support to the business unit.
