City of Johannesburg Internship Opportunity for Client Care Agent

The City of Johannesburg is excited to announce the Internship Programme for 2024, inviting qualified and motivated individuals to apply for the position of Client Care Agent.

Position Details

  • Position: Internship: Client Care Agent
  • Stipend: R9,531.54 per month (Basic Salary, no benefits) for those with a completed qualification with a minimum of 360 credits.
  • Department: Transport

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) and a Diploma in Marketing, Business Management, Business Administration, or an NQF Level 6 qualification.
  • Residency: Only residents of the City of Johannesburg are eligible to apply.

Primary Function

The intern will provide complete and effective client service, aiming to meet client needs and expectations with first-contact resolution, while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency in service delivery.

Key Learning Areas

  • Client Interaction: Provide accurate information to customers about the products and services offered by the company, and maintain records of client interactions.
  • Query Resolution: Deliver high-quality, professional resolution of client queries to ensure satisfaction.
  • Complaint Management: Handle client complaints in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Relationship Building: Enhance client loyalty by improving relationships and communication both internally and externally, particularly in relation to the Rea Vaya service, contributing to increased profitability.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Execute effective stakeholder relations management in line with applicable policies and procedures.
  • Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate reporting of client care activities.
