Location: Sandton, Gauteng
Key Purpose of the Learnership Programme
The Discovery Learnership Programme provides a pathway to a nationally recognized NC: Wealth Management NQF Level 5 qualification. This programme blends structured learning with practical workplace experience in the Financial Services industry, equipping participants for a career in wealth management.
Areas of Responsibility
As a participant in this Learnership, your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Wealth Management:
- Quality Assurance (QA) for all submitted business.
- Assisting with capturing new business and claims, and following up on outstanding requirements within Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Compiling and acting on daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Supporting the Sales Manager and collaborating with various business areas.
- Monitoring office efficiency and servicing financial advisers.
- Serving as a liaison to Discovery, managing office functions, and handling frontline administrative tasks.
- Assisting the Sales Manager with insights and trend analyses.
- Providing customer service to walk-in clients and managing onboarding processes within set SLAs.

Education and Experience
- Grade 12 is essential.
- Maths: Minimum Level 4 (50%).
- English: Minimum Level 4 (50%).
- Maths Literacy: Minimum Level 5 (60%).
- Second Language: Minimum Level 4 (50%).
- An incomplete tertiary qualification in finance (advantageous but not required).
Specific Requirements
- Not currently engaged in post-Matric studies or formal employment.
- Must not have completed any previous Learnership.
- Age: Between 18 and 30 years.
- Effective communication skills in written and verbal English.
- Basic computer skills, especially in MS Excel, MS Outlook, and PowerPoint.
