The primary responsibility of the Temporary Asset Verification Clerks will be to conduct a thorough 100% verification of assets listed in the fixed asset register. This process involves cross-referencing the assets physically present on the ground with those recorded in the system, ensuring that every item is accounted for and correctly documented. - Asset Tagging
Another critical task will be the tagging of all assets with new barcodes. This step is essential for streamlining asset tracking and management processes, allowing for more efficient future audits and asset utilization assessments. - Inventory Management
Clerks will be responsible for preparing a comprehensive list of assets that are present on-site but are not currently reflected in the fixed asset register. This process is vital for identifying discrepancies and ensuring that the asset register is up-to-date and accurate. - Data Updating and Management
Using the ARC’s asset management system, NetTrace, clerks will be required to update the fixed asset information with precise details, including the exact location, condition, and other relevant attributes of each asset.
