Description
The General Worker position in Limpopo is essential for ensuring that all planned operational targets for the water division are met as per contractual obligations, with an emphasis on timely and high-quality performance.
Responsibilities
- Team Collaboration: Work with the team leader/administrator to achieve planned operational targets.
- Daily Inspections: Perform inspections on designated areas of responsibility every day.
- Site Management: Plan and manage water sites effectively.
- Problem Solving: Assist with solving operational challenges and report any deviations to the immediate supervisor.
- Discipline Adherence: Follow discipline procedures in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety rules and regulations as per safety legislation and company procedures.
- Operational Tasks: Open and close valves in line with operational requirements and extend and connect pipelines as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements
Qualification
- Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent
Requirements
- Wastewater and water certificates will be advantageous.
- Preferably previous exposure to wastewater management.
