Role Description
Bakubung Platinum Mine (BPM) is offering a unique development opportunity for suitably qualified and unemployed graduates who wish to be part of BPM’s talent pool. This programme targets candidates with a relevant degree or diploma but with no prior work experience. Successful candidates will gain hands-on experience and exposure to the mining industry, enhancing their skills and career prospects.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
- Diploma / Degree (NQF 6 or higher) in one of the following fields:
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Mining Engineering
- Metallurgical Engineering
Other Requirements
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Must be between 18 – 35 years old.
- Must have a clear criminal record.
- Must be currently unemployed and not previously participated in any internship programme.
- Must be able to obtain a medical fitness certificate for the relevant internship role.

- Strong communication and presentation skills
