Role Description
Bakubung Platinum Mine (BPM) is offering a unique development opportunity for promising young candidates, both employed and unemployed, to gain a nationally recognized qualification in the fields of engineering, mining, and process plant operations. This learnership is targeted at individuals who are committed, passionate, and goal-driven, with the potential to become part of BPM’s talent pool.
Learnership opportunities are available in the following study fields:
- Engineering: Rigging, Fitting, Boilermaking, Instrumentation, Millwright, Electrical
- Mining: Level 2 and 3
- Mineral Processing: Level 2
Minimum Requirements
- N2 with Mathematics and Engineering Science
- or Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science
- or Technical Matric with relevant trade theory
Other Requirements
- Must be medically fit to work in the specific area
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must be between 18 – 35 years old
- Must have no criminal record

- Initiative and creative problem-solving abilities
- Must be safety conscious
- Responsibility and commitment to the programme
