Department of Correctional Services: Administration Clerk – NCCS

The Department of Correctional Services is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the position of Administration Clerk within the National Council for Correctional Services (NCCS). This role is based at the department’s National Head Office in Pretoria.
Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate.
- Previous experience in a parole profile environment is advantageous.
- Computer literacy is essential.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Filing and safekeeping of lifer profiles.
- Managing lifer profiles between the NCCS Secretariat, Directorate: Pre-Release Resettlement, and the Ministry.
- Preparation and management of NCCS meetings.
- Overseeing meetings of the Correctional Supervision and Parole Review Board.
- Drafting NCCS recommendations.
- Handling enquiries and representations related to lifer profiles.
- Processing applications for revocation and reinstatement of parole.
