Job Description
The NCAMA Learnership is an NQF Level-2 programme, offered on a fixed-term contract for 12 months. The programme includes both institutional and on-the-job training in accordance with company requirements.
Responsibilities
As part of the Learnership Programme, your responsibilities will include:
- Participating in a combination of institutional training and on-the-job training as per learnership qualifications and company standards.
- Contributing to key business objectives such as Safety, Quality, Productivity, Cost, and Delivery by executing standardized training at the workplace.
- Learning to use tools and equipment for specific and technical tasks within the assembly process.
- Adhering to established workplace timeframes and procedures.
- Suggesting process alternatives to improve assembly efficiency.
- Providing support to production teams as required.
- Communicating effectively with peers and supervisors.
- Maintaining integrity in all tasks and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Performance Measures/Success Criteria
To be successful, you will need to:
- Complete the training programme as specified by Ford Motor Company South Africa (FMCSA) and MerSeta.
- Follow the prescribed training schedule to ensure competence.
- Complete the learnership within the specified timeframe.
- Rotate between shifts to gain diverse exposure during the training period.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA)

Qualifications

- Grade 12 Certificate with a pass in:
- Pure Mathematics (HG/SG) – Note: Mathematics Literacy, Additional Mathematics, Functional Mathematics, Commercial Mathematics, and Applied Mathematics are not accepted.
- English.
- Only unemployed individuals are eligible to apply.
- Applicants must be below 35 years of age.
