Johannesburg Pikitup (SOC) Ltd is developing a database for students requiring work-integrated learning (WIL) to complete their studies. This initiative is in response to the increasing demand from tertiary institutions for students to gain on-the-job experience, either as a qualification requirement or as part of experiential training post-graduation.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the WIL Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be unemployed youth under 35 years old residing in Johannesburg.
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Must not have previously participated in a similar programme.
- The programme duration will not exceed 18 months, and students will be invited for interviews based on the company’s needs.
