Job Description
The Receiving Clerk at NTK Retail, Letsitele, will perform defined clerical duties associated with the receiving and control of stock. This role is essential to ensuring the smooth operation of store functions and maintaining high standards of client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling Receipts and Returns of Stock: The Receiving Clerk will be responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of all stock receipts and returns, ensuring that inventory records are meticulously maintained.
- Stock Control: Effective stock management is crucial. The role includes monitoring stock levels, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring that all stock is accounted for.
- Store and Floor Operations: The Receiving Clerk will assist with various store-related tasks, contributing to the overall organization and functionality of the retail environment.
- Client Service: Providing excellent customer service is a key part of this role. The Receiving Clerk will assist customers with inquiries and help maintain a positive shopping experience.
- Substitute Cashier Duties: The role may also include stepping in as a cashier when needed, ensuring flexibility and smooth operation of the store.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Educational Requirements: A Grade 12 or NQF4 qualification is required for this position.
- Experience: Previous experience in the agricultural industry is advantageous but not mandatory. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong capacity to add value to the existing functions of the role.
