Purpose of the Role

The purpose of this role is to deliver effective sales support services by executing specified objectives according to agreed-upon SOPs. The Admin Support will facilitate smooth business operations and contribute to achieving sales targets.

Minimum Experience Required

  • 1 – 2 years of experience in a similar administrative or sales support environment.

Key Requirements

  • Processing of Quotes: Manage and handle quotes for clients or brokers.
  • Client/Broker Liaison: Communicate regularly with both internal and external clients or brokers to ensure smooth processes.
  • Reporting: Assist with the preparation and delivery of reports.
  • Proficiency in Excel: Must have working knowledge of Excel for managing spreadsheets and data.
  • Product Knowledge (advantageous): Familiarity with company products will be an added benefit.
  • Employee Benefits Experience: Knowledge in this area is advantageous.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC) [NQF Level 04] in Office Administration.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Administrative Duties: Use various software tools to produce correspondence, documents, and maintain records. This includes managing databases and generating spreadsheets.
  2. Sales Support: Provide administrative support to new business transactions, helping the team to achieve their sales targets.
  3. Document Generation: Produce and generate reports, documents, and correspondence as needed.
  4. Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve administrative issues, escalating complex problems when necessary.
  5. Client Service: Handle client queries and ensure prompt, effective resolution. Escalate problematic cases to maintain excellent client service.
  6. Customer Experience: Ensure client service delivery meets or exceeds expectations, adhering to Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles.
  7. Governance and Compliance: Adhere to governance and compliance procedures, following company policies and taking appropriate actions to mitigate risks.
  8. Learning and Development: Contribute to personal knowledge and skills development in the administrative field.

Client Service Responsibilities

  • Address and Resolve Queries: Address client queries promptly and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Client Satisfaction: Deliver service that meets or exceeds client expectations while ensuring compliance with TCF principles.

Finance Responsibilities

  • Compliance with Financial Policies: Follow established standards and procedures to avoid potential losses or waste.
