The North West Department of Social Development is inviting applications from suitably qualified individuals for the following positions:
Position: Cleaner (27 Posts)

Salary: R131 265 per annum (Level 2)
Location: Provincial Office Districts and Service Points
Requirements:
- Minimum of Grade 10 or equivalent qualification.
- Adult Education and Training certification is advantageous.
- At least one year of relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of cleaning materials and the ability to operate cleaning equipment.
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures and techniques.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Basic literacy (ability to read and write) and numeracy skills (ability to count).
- Ability to work in a team and interact with elderly individuals.
- Physical strength and stamina.
Duties:
- Cleaning Services: Sweeping floors, emptying dustbins, and cleaning offices and workshops as required.
- Monitor Cleaning Supplies: Keep track of stock levels and report when supplies are low.
- Equipment Maintenance: Safeguard and maintain cleaning equipment.
- Health and Safety: Follow all Occupational Health and Safety guidelines.
