Job Description
The primary responsibilities of the Casual / Temporary Workers include preparing surfaces for painting, performing general maintenance tasks, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Key duties include:
- Cleaning, scraping, and sanding surfaces to ensure proper adhesion for painting.
- Keeping the work area clean and organized to promote efficiency and safety.
- Performing minor repairs such as filling cracks and holes.
- Assisting in the preparation and clean-up process for painting tasks.
- Supporting general maintenance duties as needed.
Requirements
- Qualification: Grade 10 with 1-2 years of relevant experience, or 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience as a painter.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Must be organized, neat, and accurate in work execution.
- Preference will be given to applicants residing in Potchefstroom.

Additional Information
A competitive remuneration package will be offered, in line with the responsibilities and seniority of the position. The appointment is subject to a positive security clearance, with preference given to designated groups as per the ARC Employment Equity Plan. Permanent appointments are subject to a six-month probation period.
