SASSA: Document Administrator – Grants Administration (50 Posts)

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) is inviting suitably qualified and interested candidates to apply for 50 Document Administrator positions in the Grants Administration department, based in KwaZulu-Natal.


Position Details

  • Salary: R155 145 per annum + 37% in lieu of benefits
  • Contract Duration: 6 months
  • Location: KwaZulu-Natal Region, RMC (Pinetown)

Requirements

Education

  • Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4) is required.
  • Added Advantage: Post-Matric Qualification in Human Science, Public Administration, Economic & Management Sciences, Commerce, or Libraries and Records Management.

Skills

  • Computer Literacy is essential for this role.

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Receiving and Capturing Files: Ensure that files and loose documents are received and accurately captured into the system.
  • Scanning Files: Process and scan physical documents to ensure records are properly digitized.
  • Disposal of Files: Manage the safe and secure disposal of obsolete or unnecessary documents.
  • Validation of Scanned Records: Ensure that scanned documents are correctly validated and stored for future reference.
