Position Overview
The Driver/Cleaner will provide an efficient transport service in accordance with standard operating procedures and legal requirements. Key responsibilities include the delivery and collection of vehicles, goods, documentation, and customers in a safe and professional manner.
Specific Role Responsibilities
- Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors to meet showroom standards.
- Conduct vehicle quality control, including identifying and reporting expired licenses, service-due vehicles, and any other issues that do not meet quality standards.
- Refuel vehicles and check tyre pressure, oil, and other necessary fluids.
- Deliver vehicles to customers and transfer them between branches, following company procedures.
- Handle deliveries and pickups of documentation from banks, suppliers, internal departments, and customers.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the branch premises.
- Uphold the company’s integrity by acting ethically and safeguarding the assets and interests of the business and its customers.
- Perform additional tasks as requested by the Branch Manager.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Experience:
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
Minimum Qualification:
- Grade 12 Certificate.
Other Requirements:
- A valid, unendorsed Code 8 driver’s license (minimum 2 years old).
- Basic computer literacy.
- Bilingual, with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to read maps.
