Job Purpose
The role involves providing essential support to the Road System Management Unit in maintaining and operating traffic signals across eThekwini Municipality.
Key Responsibilities
- Cable Trenching: Digging trenches for cables and transporting traffic signal tools to excavation sites.
- Equipment Assembly: Assembling various traffic signal components and ensuring they are ready for installation.
- Support to Technicians: Assisting Artisans and Technicians in mounting, testing, and maintaining traffic signals.
- Safety Adherence: Following safety protocols and ensuring all work is carried out under strict safety guidelines.
- Additional Tasks: Carrying out other relevant tasks as needed by the department.

- Must be prepared to work in adverse weather conditions.
