Glencore Operations South Africa is inviting suitably qualified and interested candidates to apply for its 2024 Engineering Learnership Programme. The programme offers an opportunity to obtain a Trade Certificate through a structured learnership process.
Learnership Opportunities:
Candidates can apply for learnerships in the following trades:
- Auto Electrical
- Diesel Mechanic
- Instrumentation
- Electrician
- Fitter
- Millwright
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 or Technical Grade 12
- Full N2 qualification, including four (4) engineering subjects with relevant trade theory and mathematics
Skills Requirements:
- Candidates must pass an aptitude test or psychometric assessments
- Must be medically fit for underground work
Job Objectives:
- Enrol in an Engineering Learnership Programme registered with the MQA SETA
- Complete institutional training at a Glencore-approved training centre
- Gain practical training and exposure at Glencore’s premises
