Job Purpose:
To provide general cleaning services and prepare beverages for staff.
Key Performance Areas:
- Clean offices and toilets as per schedule.
- Clean meeting halls and open areas.
- Maintain and clean equipment and tools used for cleaning.
- Prepare beverages for staff.
- Clean the kitchen, cutlery, and surrounding areas.
- Provide support during functions by assisting with catering activities.
Requirements:
- Grade 7.
Position: 1x Pest Controller

Salary: R 200,371.56 per annum (Job level 16)
Job Purpose:
To apply preventative and corrective pest control measures to maintain a healthy environment.
Key Performance Areas:
- Identify pest-infested areas and apply pest control measures.
- Maintain and clean pest control equipment and tools.
- Clean garbage collection areas.
Requirements:
- Grade 10.
- Driver’s License.
- One (1) year relevant experience.
Community Services Department
Position: 2x General Workers (Parks and Cemeteries)
Job ID Numbers: 6/5/3/012 & 6/5/3/014
Salary: R 177,352.20 per annum (Job level 17)
Job Purpose:
To perform tasks related to the construction and maintenance of parks and cemeteries.
Key Performance Areas:
- Maintain municipal green areas, overgrown stands, and cemeteries.
- Maintain machinery, equipment, and tools.
Requirements:
- Basic reading, writing, and numeracy skills.
- 1-4 weeks of relevant experience.
Position: 3x Machine Operators (Parks and Cemeteries)
Job ID Numbers: 6/5/1/029, 6/5/2/004 & 6/5/2/028
Salary: R 200,371.56 per annum (Job level 16)
Job Purpose:
To operate lawnmowers, cut grass, and assist with planting trees and flowers.
Key Performance Areas:
- Maintain municipal green areas, overgrown stands, and cemeteries.
- Operate and maintain machinery, equipment, and tools.
Requirements:
- Grade 7.
- 3 to 6 months of relevant experience.
