The Opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Care Service Agent to join our dynamic team. The primary responsibility of this role is to handle customer service inquiries, address concerns, and provide innovative solutions to customer issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Hungry Lion’s customer service policies and be proficient in product and business knowledge, enabling them to offer quick and accurate support.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Respond to Customer Inquiries:
    Handle incoming customer queries via phone calls, WhatsApp, and social media platforms related to issues, product concerns, and general service questions.
  • Maintain Professionalism:
    Uphold a high level of professionalism while interacting with customers, and work to establish a positive rapport with every client.
  • Social Media Engagement:
    Actively respond to customer queries and concerns through social media channels.
  • Database Management:
    Update customer information in the service database during and after each interaction.
  • Stay Updated:
    Collaborate with the management team to stay informed about product knowledge, marketing strategies, and updates to company policies and procedures.
  • Problem-Solving:
    Improve the company’s bottom line by resolving customer issues and converting frustrated customers into repeat clients.
  • Customer Liaison:
    Communicate with customers across various platforms in a professional manner, providing accurate feedback and updating reports.

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Education:
    Grade 12 qualification, accompanied by a relevant Tertiary qualification.
  • Experience:
    A minimum of 1 year of experience in customer care or a call center environment.
  • Computer Skills:
    Intermediate computer proficiency with strong speed, accuracy, and navigation skills.

Desirable:

  • Online Chat Experience:
    Familiarity with managing customer interactions via online chat.
  • Remote Work Experience:
    Previous experience working from home or in a remote setting.
  • Typing Speed:
    A typing speed of 25 words per minute (WPM) or more, with a 90% accuracy rate.
  • Google Workspace Experience:
    Experience working with Google Workspace tools.
