Job Description
Are you an eager and motivated individual passionate about baking and ready to kickstart your career? RCL Foods is excited to offer dynamic and driven learners the chance to join our Baking Learnership Programme. We are looking for 15 learners to be based at our Pretoria West location.
This 12-month learnership provides in-depth mentorship and guidance, with a focus on the complete baking process. The programme is SETA-accredited, and successful candidates will earn a SAQA-endorsed qualification. Learners will also gain hands-on work experience that aligns with the standards set by both RCL Foods and SETA.
Through the Supreme Siyabhaka Academy, the learnership programme is centered around three key objectives:
- Developing Skilled Professionals: Cultivating the talents of young learners to produce highly employable professionals in the baking industry.
- Brand Excellence: Enhancing the reputation of our baking brands by associating them with top-tier skills, service, and products.
- Raising Industry Standards: Elevating the quality of both professional and in-store bakery products, reshaping consumer perceptions, and strengthening customer relationships.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 qualification with hospitality studies and a sound knowledge of mathematics.
- Computer literacy (MS Office) is an advantage.
- A strong drive to excel in performance.
- A willingness to learn and grow.
- Creativity, lateral thinking, and a problem-solving mindset.
