ARJO YES Programme 2024 – Youth Employment Service Opportunities
ARJO invites unemployed South African youth to join its Youth Employment Service (YES) Programme, offering 12-month work experience in two key positions:
Position 1: YES Programme – Service Technician
- Location: East London, Eastern Cape
- Stipend: R5,000 per month
- Duration: 12 Months
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular hospital assessments.
- Perform maintenance and service repairs.
- Handle assessment repairs and address warranty issues as required.
- Manage inventory and stock.
Requirements:
- Electrical qualification.
- Physically strong and healthy, with consistent attendance and flexibility for extended hours.
- Background in electrical or technical fields, with basic tool knowledge.
- Must be a South African citizen, aged 18–35, unemployed, and not currently in a learnership program.
- Preferred: Valid Driver’s License.
Position 2: YES Programme – Warehouse Assistant
- Location: Pretoria and Durban, South Africa
- Stipend: R5,000 per month
- Duration: 12 Months
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist with dispatching and receiving deliveries.
- Perform picking, packing, and serial number capturing.
- Conduct inventory counts and general filing.
- Maintain safety and cleanliness in the work environment.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles, confirming and inspecting inventory.
Requirements:
- Supply Chain qualification.
- Physically fit, reliable, and able to work extended hours when required.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Must be a South African citizen, aged 18–35, unemployed, and not currently in a learnership program.
- Preferred: Valid Driver’s License.
