Programme Overview
The Faurecia Internship Programme is designed to provide hands-on experience and professional growth in various fields, including Human Resources, Production, and Finance.
Position 1: YES Graduate Programme – Human Resources
Location: Port Elizabeth/Uitenhage
Department: Country Human Resources
Reports To: Country HR Director
Contract Duration: 12 months
Closing Date: 29 November 2024
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Participate in recruitment processes for Country positions.
- Manage the onboarding of new employees.
- Oversee the exit interview process.
- Support Talent Development and Graduate Programmes.
- Manage performance reviews and objective-setting processes.
- Assist in preparing for Talent Review processes.
- Lead internal and external communications (e.g., LinkedIn, newsletters).
- Plan and manage HR training, projects, and events.
- Oversee the SAF YES Programme.
Candidate Profile:
- Formal qualification in HR or a related field.
- Final-year students must provide proof of graduation eligibility from their university.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and results-oriented.
- Minimum academic achievement of 70% overall.
- Must be aged 18–35 and have never participated in the Y.E.S Programme.
- Own transport is required for commuting between Port Elizabeth and Uitenhage.
Position 2: YES Graduate Programme – Production
Location: FCM Port Elizabeth
Department: Production/UAP
Reports To: UAP Manager
Contract Duration: 12 months
Closing Date: 2 December 2024
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead initiatives to improve team performance and ensure daily management of teams.
- Implement problem-solving workshops (e.g., 5S, TPM).
- Manage personnel issues, ensuring team development, staffing, and training.
- Comply with Group Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards, improving working conditions and ergonomics.
Candidate Profile:
- Diploma or B-Tech in Operations Management/Industrial Engineering (or graduating in 2025).
- Intermediate computer literacy is essential.
- Knowledge of work-study principles and measurement tools.
- A detail-oriented individual with analytical skills.
- Minimum academic achievement of 70% overall.
- Must be aged 18–35 and have never participated in the Y.E.S Programme.
- Willingness to work shifts.
Position 3: Finance Graduate
Reports To: Accounts Payable Manager
Contract Duration: 12 months
Closing Date: 2 December 2024
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Respond to supplier queries regarding payments and general concerns.
- Reconcile creditor statements.
- Process supplier invoices in SAP.
- Undertake other operational tasks as required.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum qualification: BCom in Financial Accounting.
- Consistent academic record with an overall 70% pass mark.
- Customer satisfaction-oriented mindset.
