Job Purpose
The Packing General Worker plays a key role in production, performing a variety of tasks to ensure efficient handling, processing, and quality control of products.
Key Responsibilities
Stock Movements
- Move stock within various production areas.
- Rack garments on the auto printing machine, remove them once branded, and ensure they cure properly in the tunnel.
Unpacking and Packing Stock
- Unpack stock, verify product quality and accuracy as per the job card.
- Pack completed items after quality control checks to ensure they meet job card specifications.
Garment Cleaning
- Remove threading and backing from embroidered garments using small embroidery scissors.
Material Cutting
- Cut materials accurately using templates and a cutting machine.
Housekeeping
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and work areas, keeping the factory floor orderly.
