About the Position
The South African State Theatre is looking for qualified candidates to join its team as Security Guards. These positions are responsible for securing the theatre’s personnel, property, and assets, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all.
Key Responsibilities
- Safeguard personnel, buildings, and valuable assets.
- Monitor and control visitor access to the building.
- Patrol the premises at regular intervals.
- Respond promptly to distress calls and alarms.
- Conduct surveillance of assigned areas.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Matric (High School Diploma).
- Certification: Grade C Registration with PSIRA (Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority).
Experience Required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a security guard.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Clear and authoritative verbal communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Proficiency in learning the layout of the property and buildings.
